A year of art

Dear Lucy,

You have been at Wren's Nest preschool for a year this month. Over said year, I've collected about, let's say - a BIGILION - sand-covered, bejeweled, sweetness-infused art projects that I've been stashing in various corners of the house deemed safe from little hands and juice spills.

This week, I chose some favorites and put them into a shadow box.

I'm so happy to have these treasures. And it brightens my day to see them on display.

So my little prolific artist - keep it up. You are doing very well. And Ikea has a lot more shadowboxes we can fill.
