Once upon a time, the Simpsons aired a Ren and Stimpy farce commercial about the ***NEW COOLEST TOY*** being a log. The lyrics:

And now, I am happy to say that we have enough footage to film our own commercial about the
***NEW COOLEST TOY***

And it is the...

Wait for it...

!!! LAUNDRY BASKET !!!

No really. We have had significantly more play out of this thing than any toy in the house. It's been a helicopter (spinning), a riding horse (on top of), a truck (scooting along), a jail (over the head), a fort (blanket over), and a bed (pillow inside).

Sometimes you both have your own boat in the sea of the living room...

And and other times (like tonight) you both tuck your sweet, little bodies into one twirling tornado...

Great fun and so much easier to clean up than the box of legos.

I am not sure why I dare to cut your hair since I really don't know what I'm doing - but it looks great. And you are looking way too grown up!

Home again home again riggety jig jig

Back to our small family. Back to school and life on foot about the neighborhood. Back to playing games in the curtains.

It's nice to be home. And nicer still to bring home so many great memories.
